1866-1871 | John MacKail, Hamburg Consul in King George's Sound From 20.6.1868 Consul of the North German Confederation On 25th August 1871 MacKail was supposed to be formally appointed Consul of the German Empire, but he died around the middle of August. A suitable person to take over the office of Consul could not be found, and the position was withdrawn in October 1876. An request in 1890 for the establishment of another consulate in Albany - King George's Sound was not granted, as the appointment of an Honorary Consul for Fremantle (Western Australia) was being arranged then. |

1903-1914 | Ludwig Ratazzi, Consul He was of German and Italian background; he was Consul for both countries. During the First World War he was interned. |
From 1931-1937 a consular agency was operated in Perth by Consular Agent H.C. Ittershagen. He was directly subordinate to the General Consulate in Sydney.
