1862-1872 Carlos Krämer-Walter, Hamburg Vice-Consul
From 20.6.1868 Consul of the North German Confederation, from 25.8.1871 Consul of the German Empire. During any lengthy absence he was represented by James Cole Ellis.
23.4.1873-1902 James Cole Ellis, Vice-Consul
At the beginning he was subordinate to the consulate in Sydney, and from 1879 subordinate to the General Consulate in Sydney.
1902-1907 (Managed by a Consulate Commissioner)
1907-1914 Otto Johannsen, Vice-Consul
He was interned during the First World War.
