Image: wrapping paperIn Palestine the German Templers engaged mainly in agriculture in their settlements and built themselves European-style houses. They had their own schools and cultural institutions. They were successful not only in agriculture, but also in roadbuilding, craft trades and business. Sarona was well known for its export of high quality oranges. Below you see photos of the Templers' everyday life in the 1920s and 1930s, thanks to the Albert Blaich Family Archive.
